With over 350 built, the Hatteras 53 Motor Yacht is a classicyachting design. Few American motoryachts of her era cameclose to matching the Hatteras 53 in comfort and luxury, andnone could match the quality construction long associated withthe Hatteras brand. The Hatteras 53's expansive three-stateroominterior was considered ideal in a 1970s/1980s motoryacht her size.The wheelhouse is open to the salon, and a centerline door leadsto a roomy aft deck area. The galley is down several steps fromthe helm/salon area and features large counter spaces, abundantstorage, and dinette for four. Forward is a guest stateroom (or crewcabin) with over/under bunks and private head.
