Vessel Walkthrough
This beautifully customized motoryacht comfortably sleeps five in three staterooms plus 2 more on a convertible sofa in the main salon. She has three electric heads, two showers, a large updated stainless steel galley, two walk-in engine rooms, a main salon with adjoining enclosed aft deck, a spacious forward deck with custom sun lounges, and an easily-accessed swim platform suitable for scuba diving and an upper flying bridge with custom arch, bimini  and full enclosure.

 

 


Master Stateroom
Beginning below decks, the Master Stateroom is aft with a queen berth athwartships with walk-arounds on both sides, 2 night stands, large, lighted double hanging closet with custom sliding mirrored & louvered doors, built-in safe, 10 extra built-in drawers and 1 extra large storage cabinet. The ceiling is embossed brass with a brass central medallion and a leaded crystal lighting fixture. MSR and ceiling lighting feature recessed Imtra spots with dual controls, rheostats and dual voltage (110v & 12V). Numerous extra 110V receptacles are placed throughout MSR. There is a built-in loveseat and a Sharp Aquos flat screen TV and built-in stereo, DVD, DirecTV tuner and 2 Polk speakers. Flooring is hardwood with brass trim. Beautiful high-end fabrics include: draperies, sheers, pillow shams, and loveseat cushions. The ensuite head is 32V Crown/Raritan electric head, Corian counter & sink, wallpaper, American Standard brass plumbing fixtures, 110V & 12V lighting, shower with mirrored door & 12V Jabsco sump pump, stained glass porthole in bath & shower, mirrored ceiling and teak and holly sole flooring. The master head was remodeled in 2008.

 

Hallway leading to the 2nd stateroom has custom brass ceiling with Imtra 32V lighting. The hall floor is custom hardwood with brass trim running the entire way. Hall walls are the original mozambique "feather" teak and carry an eye-catching luster with over 7 coats of Epifanes varnish.

 

 


Guest Stateroom
Forward to port is the Guest Stateroom/Den which originally contained twin lower berths divided by a common night stand. This area was converted to a combination office with daybed in 2006/2007. This includes a built-in mahogany desktop with birds-eye maple inlays bordered in ebony. The desk has 2 mahogany file cabinets and a utility drawer above a dual opening cabinet with mahogany shelves to the right. The closet is a tall hanging locker with deep storage shelving and automatic light. The ceiling has mahogany & teak beams with maple inlays and 4 brass polished directional recessed overhead lights controlled by a dimmer. There is a Sharp Aquos flat screen television suspended above the desk and a Direct TV box mounted in the closet. The portholes have custom pinch-pleated draperies. The daybed is raised an extra foot over original to house a variety of drawers in different sizes all secured with brass hooks to prevent opening while underway. The berth has new cushions with custom upholstery and accent pillows. 4 custom mahogany bookshelves were installed with removable slats to stow books while underway. The entire room has been refinished with 7 coats of Epifanes high gloss. Opposite starboard is the Mid-Guest Head with a new 32V Crown/Rartian electric head,  Corian counter & sink, new wallpaper, American Standard brass plumbing fixtures, towel bars & hangers and a robe hook, new 110V & 12V lighting on separate switches, shower with mirrored door, brass hinged collapsing magnified mirror, stained glass porthole, common shower is shared with MSR head, mirrored ceiling and teak and holly sole flooring. The guest head was remodeled in 2008.

 

 


Moving Forward
The engine rooms are to port and starboard with steps leading up to the Galley with dinette. All the way forward is the V-berth Guest Stateroom/Crew Cabin with twin upper & lower berths, hanging locker, built-in dresser, 5 drawers, 2 cabinets, large pantry, and all new cushions with custom Sunbrella fabric and toss pillows. All upholstery work including wall fabric and padding was replaced in 2007. The entire V-berth has been refinished with 7 coats of Epifanes high gloss. Additionally, there is a Bosch washer & dryer, and a private head with Crown/Raritan electric head connected to a LectrSan salt feed system. All the way foreward is the anchor locker. There are Corian counters & sink, American Standard stainless plumbing fixtures, stained glass porthole, teak wall magazine rack, teak shower grate flooring, shower curtain, shower, sump pump, 110V & 32V lighting and ample double-cabinet storage behind mirror. Forward head has Y-valve that may be diverted to the 42 gallon Sealand holding tank system with pump out motor for legal discharge beyond the 12-mile limit.

 

 


Main Saloon
The teak steps from the galley lead up to the Main Saloon that contains the lower helm station and electronics, 2 built-in cabinets, custom teak & holly sole flooring with non-skid finish, teak cornice, wood blinds and a custom-built helm bench that seats 2 persons. The bench contains cabinetry for electronic components/paper charts/multimedia storage and features a built-in 42" Pansonic flat screen HDTV. The bench cushions are upholstered with Sunbrella fabric. The 2 side pilothouse doors have etched glass seahorse design on leaded glass windows. The saloon has recessed. There is a beautiful custom ceiling in the saloon. It consists of paneled wood with teak trim and an antique compass rose medallion in the center.

 

 


Aft Deck
The saloon opens onto the enclosed Aft Deck, which has a portable high-low table with round teak top, 4 hideaway stools, 2 teak armchairs and 2 teak deck chaise lounges with Sunbrella marine grade fabric and all new cushions. Aft deck rear windows have been replaced with new roll-up canvas with 40 gauge Strataglass. Aft deck side windows are sliding glass. All interior teak trim on the aft deck is new as of 2005 and was refinished in 2007. Also on Aft Deck is (2007) indoor/outdoor carpet, 2 antique sconce lighting fixtures, 2 large teak storage cabinets, a built-in electric wine refrigerator and a wet bar. From the aft deck to the teak swim platform is a custom made teak double door for ease of entry and exit. The swim platform has a fold-down stainless steel ladder. Propane BBQ grill is by Force 10 and comes with 2 tanks.

Electrical System


TRAVELER was totally rewired in 2004 to meet current ABYS standards. All old wiring was removed. All in-line fuses were replaced with bus blocks, terminal blocks and new fuse blocks. All wiring is clearly labeled. Additionally the entire grounding system was replaced throughout the vessel and a new Aqualarm multi-faceted engine alarm system installed in 2006. The Fireboy engine shut-off and fire safety system was also re-wired in 2006

Deck Details


Flybridge
From the aft deck, a stationary ladder gives access to the FLYBRIDGE which contains a captain's chair, 2 Sunbrella-upholstered side benches that seat 4 persons; a Sunbrella upholstered sun lounge that features custom teak cabinetry, a built-in refrigerator and is pre- wired for a freezer. It also houses a davit battery and davit battery charger. The Dinghy is a 2000 9'6" RIB AB white inflatable with a 2001 15HP Yamaha engine, a transom-mounted Inflatable Experts fuel tank and a 3-step ladder. There is a custom arch on top which holds exterior electronics sensors above and custom white and red interior lighting below and the entire flybridge was enclosed with canvas & Strataglass u-shaped roll up windows in 2006. Additionally all instruments sit in a custom teak console.

 

 


Bow & Deck
Twin Buell air horns are mounted on the bow. The forward hatch supports a 12" custom mounted chrome ships bell trimmed in teak with a custom seahorse inlay. The bow deck boxes are fiberglass trimmed in teak. On the port & starboard sides of the bow are (4) 12" stainless steel fender racks by Marquipt. (4) large fenders are heavy-duty lightweight models. The built-in bow seating has color-coordinated Sunbrella marine grade fabrics with closed-cell foam cushions. Sunbrella bow cushions are installed on top of raised portion of the bow, creating the ultimate sun bathers spot that can accommodate 6 people. The bow pulpit was manufactured by Hatteras. It was installed in 2002 with a stainless steel single anchor chute. The anchor is a 55 lb. stainless steel Delta anchor with 100 feet of 3/8" hi-tensile strength steel chain. It feeds into a custom fabricated metal chute in the chain locker to ensure smooth operations. There are chrome-plated Maxwell windlass controls for the Ideal 32V windlass that was re-manufactured by Ideal in 2001 to fit the bow pulpit. The windlass has a chrome pipe cover, a chain stopper, a chain wheel for 3/8" chain and a remote panel in both helm stations. The bow decks were repainted with a non-skid finish after the fiberglass work on the bow pulpit was completed. A 1" stainless steel bow rail provides safety on the bow pulpit. The Marquipt ladder is an aluminum and stainless steel folding boarding ladder with 6 steps, 2 wheels, 19" wide and it mounts on either the port or starboard mounting brackets.

  • Twin Cummins VT8 370 engines were totally rebuilt in 2001 by Central Marine in Landover MD. Transmissions were rebuilt in 2001 by American Marine Transmissions in Edgewater MD. ~ Approx. 600 engine hours since rebuild. New dual stage fuel filter system (combination of dual Racor 30 micron drop in cylinder filters leading to Fleetguard spin-on 10 micron filters) installed in 2007 and high-flow custom air filters installed from Seaboard Marine. All fluids and filters have been changed every season. (7) automatic & manual bilge pumps; Hi & lo bilge pumps under both engines
  • Dual station hydraulic wheel steering by Hynautics with manuals (rebuilt 2006)
