"Molly Kayte" is a 2006 44/47 Tiara Sovran with the optional Caterpillar C-12 diesels, and has been maintained by a professional Captain. All new electronics installed in 2019. All mechanical services are up to date, including the 1,000 hour CAT service, done by a factory trained and certified Caterpillar technician, less than 200 hours ago, in May of 2020. Several manufacturers build quality, high end sport cruisers, but only a few reach the standards of engineering and finish consistently attained by Tiara. In the 44/47 Sovran (the 4400 was renamed the 4700 for 2007-08, but it is exactly the same boat), Tiara delivered a yacht of remarkable luxury and design sophistication. The Sovran's handsome styling is highlighted by her fully integrated hardtop, graceful sheer, and slightly reversed transom. Focusing on comfort and function, the posh two stateroom interior of the Sovran offers a luxurious blend of satin-finished teak woodwork, Corian counters, and Ultraleather seating. The large salon settee seats five and is served by a birds-eye maple table. Each stateroom has an en-suite head, and a washer/dryer combo is concealed in the aft stateroom. Topside, an impressive Stidd helm seat can be raised or lowered electrically, and there is an L-lounge is opposite the helm. In the cockpit there are fore and aft-facing seats with a removable table between. The extended swim platform is large enough to accommodate a dinghy or PWC. With the CAT C12s the cruise speed is 28 to 30 knots.
