From The Powerboat Guide: The contemporary styling of the PT 46 Sundeck has held up well over the years which is more than might be said for many motoryachts her age. But it's more than good looks alone that makes this boat worth a hard look by anyone in the market for a used cruising yacht. The PT 46 is simply a well built boat: her solid fiberglass hull doesn't pound excessively when the seas pick up; the finish is as good or better than many Asian imports of her era; and her handcrafted teak interior imparts a sense of luxury that many boaters find irresistible. With her moderate 15'9" beam, the PT 46 is not the biggest 46-footer on the block, but her accommodations are more than adequate for all but the most space obsessed. Offered with several floorplans, a two-stateroom layout with the galley down provides a very comfortable salon and features a booth-style dinette as well.  Large salon windows provide panoramic views of the water. A teak and-holly sole runs throughout the boat. An aft hardtop, bow pulpit, swim platform were standard. Cummins 270hp diesels cruise at 14-15 knots (about 18 top).

Accommodations and Layout
Extermely spacious interior with 6'4" headroom. She is a two stateroom layout. Over sized salon with stbd entracne door and aft deck entrance. Galley down with oversized "U" shaped dinette to starboard. Forward guest stateroom has a centerline queen berth. Separate head with a stall shower is equal to most yacht's master. Aft master stateroom has an actual walkaround queen bed several hanging lockers, vanity and drwaers port & starboard. The storage available thru-out this boat would make her an excellent liveaboard. Interior is light and inviting honey toned varnished teak with hi-detail cabinets, trim moldings and doors. Solid teak and holly cabin sole. Both heads have seperate shower stalls, aft with tub and electric Toilets. Marble vanity tops.

Galley
Spacious galley with lots of storage and counter space includes a Full size refrigerator/freezer, Electric 3 burner stove with oven, Microwave, Coffee maker and trash bin.
