Overview The Eagle 53 Pilothouse "Pura Vida" is a blend of traditional design,comfortable accommodations, and a modern semidisplacement hull capable of efficient cruising speeds. Like all Eagles, this 53 is built in Taiwan by Transpacific Marine, a well regarded manufacturer with many years of yachting experience. This is a classic pilothouse design with a Portuguese bridge and covered decks, and her cruise-worthy hull incorporates hard aft chines and an extended keel for increased stability. The full teak interior of the Eagle 53 is notable for its comfortable layout and generous storage. A large U-shaped galley is forward in the salon, and the pilothouse four steps up from the salon level includes an L-shaped settee, direct bridge access, deck doors, and a centerline helm. "Pura Vida's" layout offers three staterooms on the lower level, and two heads with stall showers. Additional features include wide, well-secured side decks, a spacious flybridge with seating for six, an extended swim platform, cored hullsides, and a radar arch. There is a Zodiac tender w/ outboard and a davit on the aft end of the top deck. Bridge clearance is 18' mast up and 14' mast down. "Pura Vida" is a one owner boat!
