A distinctive, heavily built yacht with a high-freeboard profile,
the Silverton 453 MY will appeal to boaters more concerned
with a condo-style interior than styling aesthetics. What makes
this boat so boxy is the same thing that makes her so spacious;
replacing the walkaround side decks of most motor yachts, the 453
has molded staircases ascending to both sides of the flybridge--
what Silverton called "SideWalks." The result is a cavernous,
full-beam interior whose dimensions rival those of a much larger
yacht. Adding to the impression of space is a very innovative
three-stateroom, two-head floorplan, a layout made possible by
raising the galley and dinette forward of the salon. (An optional
lower helm floorplan moved the galley into the salon.) Notably,
the amidships VIP stateroom of the 453 is as big as the master
stateroom aft. The entire interior is tastefully finished with rich
cherrywood joinery. A wet bar is standard on the aft deck, and the
flybridge has lounge seating aft of the helm. Additional features
include a pilothouse deck door, large engineroom, and standard
hardtop. Twin 450hp Cummins diesels cruise the Silverton 453
MY at 18 knots (low 20s top).

The distinctive profile of the Silverton 453 Motor Yacht accentuates the innovative approach to providing a very spacious interior volume, without sacrificing exterior livability. Three full staterooms in a split plan offers complete owner privacy, and extensive guest or family quarters, complete with two heads - the owners1 even has a tub. The interior is finished in rich fabrics and warm cherry woods, and is equipped with a stereo and television. Top of the line appliances are strategically placed in the Corian-covered galley. The chef has all the storage and space needed to cook for the family. Above, the enlarged flybridge is reached from the innovative Side Walk bridge steps. Plenty of seating for all the crew is available, and space for mounting electronics is extensive. Excellent visibility enhances maneuvering, and a few steps down brings passengers to the enclosed aft deck. The aft deck is perfect for entertaining with its full wetbar, and direct access to both the main salon and aft swim platform.
